Publication

Accepted papers/tutorials/posters/workshop-papers will be published by ACM and disseminated through the ACM Digital Library.

Selected extended papers presented at WIMS'13 will be invited to appear in a special issues of reputed journals ( indexed by ISI in Web Of Science and SCOPUS) in the field and also in a book published by Elsevier.

How to submit

The maximum length of

  • research papers (including workshop papers) is at most 12 pages in ACM format
  • tutorial papers is between 5 to 12 pages in ACM format
  • poster (short) paper is at most 5 pages in ACM format
  • news-abstract is at most 2 pages in ACM format

Please note that the submission format is MS Word or PDF. The papers must be written in English and formatted according to the ACM guidelines. Author instructions and style files can be downloaded at

Note: we will not have a separate workshop or tutorials registration fee (i.e., only one conference registration covers everything).

The 3rd International Conference on Web Intelligence, Mining and Semantics (WIMS'13) is organised under the auspices of Autonomous University of Madrid . The site for the previous editions, WIMS'12 and WIMS'11, can be found here.

This is the third in a new series of conferences concerned with intelligent approaches to transform the World Wide Web into a global reasoning and semantics-driven computing machine.
